SWIM TO THE MOON

Swim to the Moon is an extraordinary open-water swimming adventure through the picturesque Hiland Chain of Lakes near Hell, Michigan. Choose your distance — half mile, 1 mile, 1.2 mile, 5K, 10K or 15K — and have the time of your life swimming through Southeast Michigan’s most sublime waterways, all the while showing support for a very worthy cause: North Star Reach, a camp for children with life-threatening, serious, and chronic medical conditions.

The 5K swim starts on the shores of Patterson Lake at North Star Reach; from there, swimmers head south and east through the heavily forested Pinckney Recreation Area, passing through five lakes along the way. Scattered cottages are the only signs of civilization. 10K race participants start at Halfmoon Lake Beach, swim to the start of the 5K (where their “special needs” bags will be available), then turn around to head back to the shores of Halfmoon Lake Beach. Both the half-mile and the 1.2-mile swim start at Halfmoon Lake Beach. All events finish at the state beach on the east shore of Halfmoon Lake.

Ferrari F8 Spider Project

I had the privilege of photographing and filming an extraordinary event – a soirée unlike any other. The setting? A lavish cocktail party hosted by a distinguished client, attended by their closest friends and held at the prestigious Cauley Ferrari.

As the evening unfolded, the air buzzed with excitement. Guests, dressed in their finest, mingled, sipping on exquisite beverages and indulging in delectable hors d'oeuvres. Laughter and chatter filled the showroom, adding to the electric atmosphere.

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for – the grand unveiling of the Ferrari F8 Spider, the epitome of automotive excellence. With its distinctive Ferrari BLU ELETTRICO hue and the raw power of its 3.9L TWIN TURBO V8 engine boasting 710HP, this iconic car was the star of the evening.

The Ferrari F8 Spider stands not only as a symbol of automotive mastery but also as a testament to the fulfillment of dreams. For my client, it was more than a car – it was an embodiment of aspiration and achievement.

Capturing the emotions of this night was an honor. To witness the sheer delight on the faces of the guests and the elation in my client's eyes as they embraced the joyous moment – it was an experience beyond compare.

As I look back on this evening, I am reminded of the power of capturing memories. The gratitude I hold for being entrusted with such a significant event knows no bounds. Moments like these, filled with grandeur and heartfelt emotions, are what make my craft so rewarding.
