Breakfast: Cinnamon Chia Yogurt Parfait with Warm Apples
🧾 Ingredients
½ cup plain Greek yogurt (or plant-based alternative)
2 tbsp chia seeds
¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
1 small apple, diced
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
1 tbsp chopped walnuts or almonds
Pinch of salt
🍳 Method
Mix chia & yogurt
The night before (or at least 30 mins ahead), stir chia seeds into yogurt and almond milk. Let thicken in the fridge.Warm the apples
Sauté diced apple in a small pan with cinnamon, pinch of salt, and a splash of water. Cook 3–4 mins until soft and glossy. Stir in sweetener if desired.Assemble the parfait
Layer chia-yogurt, warm cinnamon apples, and nuts in a glass or bowl. Top with a few extra apple pieces or seeds for texture.
